With the Stonehenge Mortar and Pestle, you can bring out the full aroma of fresh herbs and whole (i.e. unground) spices while cooking. Because when you grind it, the aromatic substances, especially the essential oils, are released - and can thus fully develop in your dishes. The heavy version is in real marble.
Additional information: Clean the mortar depending on the grist. For dry powders, tapping or wiping with a clean cloth is often sufficient. If the ground material is damp, such as curry pastes or pesto, you should only clean it with warm water and a clean kitchen sponge.
